We have an exciting new vacancy available for the above position working within our expanding Mechanical Maintenance Department.
The apprenticeship programme will provide an individual with full training both internally and externally over approximately 36 months + EPA depending on the candidate’s current knowledge skills and qualifications.
The successful candidate will be required to repair & service CNC and manual machine tools. To repair, where possible, any machine breakdowns in order to return the machine to production. To carry out annual services and other planned preventative maintenance operations. To assist with subcontract engineers to ensure prompt service & repair of machine tools and equipment.
The candidate must be willing to travel and attend Chesterfield college on a day release to gain essential knowledge and experience to complete the full apprenticeship programme eventually leading to attaining a Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 ApprenticeshipEntry requirements: Candidates should be self-motivated and have or expect to achieve at least three GCSE’S at grade 4 - 9, including Maths, English and a Science subject.
Working hours:
Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week
