Electrician's Mate

Primary Purpose of Position

• To support the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Maintenance Department.
• Electrical repair and maintenance to the Glenair buildings and electrical infrastructures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To carry out preventative maintenance procedure as required in accordance with the TMP database.
• To carry out electrical repairs/installations as required to your degree of competency.
• Repair, validate and maintenance of the Glenair buildings and electrical infrastructures.
• Report any potential electrical problems, concerns, or areas of risk relating to health & safety; in respect of yourself and others to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
• To undertake any additional duties as requested by the Maintenance / Electrical Supervisor or Facilities Maintenance Manager.
• Promote and encourage interdepartmental working relationships.
• Any other duties and ad hoc project work as and when required.
